My 22nd Birthday
Have you ever imagined about what you are like when you are 22 years old? I had, because this is the age of college graduation. I imagined that I will be knowledgeable, holding hope for the future life, and maybe already have a partner. No matter what I imagined, I never thought that day would come so soon.
I am already twenty-two years old (plus four days)!
Honestly, as someone who just ended a relationship, I don’t particularly want to celebrate the birthday (compared to the past). However, I definitely must say that I am so lucky to have such cute and sweet friends.
On the night of November 11th, my friends X and W suddenly called me and told me they had arrived my dormitory. I absolutely knew what they had planned, and they did bring out the cake and candle after midnight to celebrate for me.

I heard some people did not really like to eat cake on their birthday. However, I am totally a sweet tooth, and X chose the cake flavor I like. I extremely love it! (I took a bite right away and forgot to take a picture first.) We just chatted and relaxed on the bed. Time flies when you’re having fun. When X and W went home, it was almost 5 in the morning. How crazy.
It is my birthday today - November 12th. As what I mentioned, this year I don’t particularly want to celebrate the birthday. Therefore, I had signed up for the visit of Southern Branch

of the National Palace Museum early. It’s also because that I have wanted to visit it with great attention for a long time, instead of just hitting the high spots.
I feel that visiting the museum on birthday is very unique. When watching the exhibition, it makes me calm and also makes me feel that I have really grown up.
After the visit, I had dinner with C and Z. To be frank, the dish in that restaurant was not delicious. Then, we came back to my dormitory together, and N arrived shortly afterwards. They bring out the cake and candle, which like what X and W did yesterday. Frankly, the cake is not very tasty. Nevertheless, I like what C posted on IG, “Today’s dinner is not well, so was the cake; but with you guys, all is well.”
“Happy birthday!” they said.
“How fortunate I have you guys.” I thought.
