Double Tenth Day

The content of the post I saw is about “Weiwuying Sunset Market Strip”, which is one of Weiwuying Anniversary series of activities hold in Kaohsiung (Weiwuying is a center for art at Kaohsiung).

That was my holiday plan!

After a few days of school days, it was about to the three-day weekend. I didn’t go back to home this holiday because I just arrived school even not seven days. Having no plan, I scrolled on my phone and vegging out on the bed. Suddenly, a post on Facebook caught my eye, I clicked it and shared to my friend immediately.

So, we quickly checked the train schedule, and decided to go Kaohsiung on October tenth, which is also our National day.

I have to say, I never had heard Weiwuying before, I didn’t even know that it’s a center for the arts when we arrived there. Whatever, it’s a gorgeous building. An architecture with large area has white wavy roof and large pieces of glass on four sides, which interspersed some gentle and long ramps. We went in to that huge white wave, there are even a piano on the way to the sunset market. We stood there to listen the music played by a person coming for the sunset market either. That was really awesome and stress-relieving.

After the long queue, we entered the sunset market, and all stalls were cute and distinctive. I was totally in love with here! The beautiful sunset shined with the light bulbs hanged between stall and stall, how a nice scene.

Unfortunately, there were too much people. We queued again and again to buying food and drink (yes, it was alcoholic liquid, not beverage), and we didn’t have enough energy to line up for the dining seats in the market anymore. Therefore, we left the sunset market and ate on bench near.

Before we went to Kaohsiung, we had heard that National Day fireworks show is hold in Kaohsiung Port. Undoubtedly, we must go to see!

Taking the MRT, following the crowd, we sat on a parking lot at the end just like other people around us. Soon, the fireworks show started with the admiration of everyone. They were so generous, and I couldn’t even take my eyes away from them a second.  Perhaps  it’s

a bit too exaggerated to describe my feelings as touched, but it does feel like this. It reminds me of the first time I was sitting on the grass with new friends to watch the school’s anniversary celebration fireworks when I was freshman. Now, I am already a sophomore.

This long weekend was far fun than I thought. Hope in the last year of school, every day will as fun and happy as this day.
