The First Half of April
April 1st
Well, originally I would be in Penghu and try many kinds of watersports, like fly fish, banana boat, or even crystal kayak. However, the ferry service was suspended at 4/1 and it is very likely to be suspended next day as well because of bad weather.
Guess what, my friend and I were told at 3/30, the day before we going to Penghu! We planned to travel there from 3/31 to 4/2 originally, and worst of all, after we deciding to cancel all schedules to prevent us being unable to return to Taiwan at 4/2, the ferry company refused to refund us the price of tickets.
It is a tricky one, if the ferry of 4/2 was confirmed to be canceled, the company was willing to give us the

refund; but if we waited for the company to announce suspension, we would have already been trapped in Penghu!
In the end, neither we went to Penghu, nor we got the refund. What a nice beginning to my spring break. 🙁
April 3rd
I had been to Anping Tree House when I was ten years old, and it has been a long time. Therefore, before graduating and going back to New Taipei, I want to visit there again while I am still in Chiayi. (After all, 4 hours for New Taipei to Tainan takes too long.)

According to the sad event of 4/1 above, we all know the weather is not good. But fortunately, it cleared up when I arrived at Anping Tree House; the cloudless sky stopped hiding any more! When Anping Tree House came into view, I found it was smaller than it was in my memory. Maybe this is what growing up feels like.
April 4th-15th
Week of preparing midterm exams. (Soooooo tired.)

April 16th
It has been a year since I took my hamster home. That is to say, today, my little Día is one year old, and she becomes a 120-gram girl from a 65 gram baby! It is so touching to see her grow up healthy. Can you imagine Día had been able to sleep in her bowl entirely? She will fill the whole bowl now, even if she only steps into one feet.
By the way, “día” means “day” in Spanish. I named her Día because I want her to be a little cute sun, but "sun" in Spanish is ”sol", which is too hard to pronounce for my friends. 😛
